Terms and Conditions 2025
Our terms and conditions have been set for a clear understanding of what we expect, from you and what you should expect from us. This will help to ensure the best Learning experience for you and training experience for Steve Your instructor.
* Strictly one introductory offer per student. After the offer expires full price for lessons must be paid. Lessons are Strictly Non-Transferable. Lessons not taken may result in lesson fees lost.
* No Lesson will be booked unless accompanied by correct payment in full. Lesson prices will not be negotiated, we do not offer credit or booking plans, Goldstar Driving Academy is a Driving School not a credit broker.
* To qualify for Block Booking Prices payment in full must be received on the booking of the first lesson. Block booking is no longer heavily discounted, but does allow you to book and plan your lessons ahead. Payment for all lessons must be made within 24 hours of dates arranged or they will not be reserved.
* 48 Hours notice is required for lesson cancellation. If the required notice is not given your lesson fee will be lost. Cancellation notice must be received by Goldstar Driving Academy and acknowledged or fees may be lost. To ensure this Phone is the best way, leave a message on the answer service, it will be responded to at the earliest opportunity.
* All Non Attendance will be charged at £80. Your Instructor will only wait 10 minutes over time at pick up address. To avoid missing your lesson, we recommend you are ready at least 30 mins before start time.
* Any refund on prepaid lessons will only be available at Goldstar Driving Academy discretion and will be subject to an £80 administration fee. Any Block Booking cancelled before completion will charged at normal rate £40 ph for any lessons taken.
* Discounted lessons are only for the period stated after which full hourly rate will apply. If you take a break of more than two months in your tuition all special offers will be cancelled and you will be charged full price for your lessons. If no contact is made during that time your lessons will be cancelled and fees will be lost.
* Goldstar Driving Academy reserves the right to withdraw the use of the Tuition Car for your practical test and ask you to re-book the test for a later date if in your instructors opinion you are not up to test standard.
* Goldstar Driving Academy cannot be held responsible for lesson cancellation due to Mechanical Breakdown or illness. We will however re-book the lesson as a priority at the first available opportunity.
* Goldstar Driving Academy abide by Equal Opportunity policies and will not discriminate against race, religion, creed, gender, age or sexual orientation.
* Goldstar Driving Academy will not tolerate violence or abusive or foul language in the car or towards its instructor at any time. We will respect you in the same way we expect your respect. Thank-you!
* In accordance with the law Goldstar Driving Academy operates a strict non-smoking policy in the car.
*Failure on your part to disclose any pending criminal or driving conditions or medical history that excludes you from driver training will result in the loss of any lesson fees.
*You will be required to sign agreement of these terms before training commences
